This pointe shoe is a strong shank strength version of Bloch's popular European Balance pointe shoe. The same as the softer shank, this version closely follows the contours of the foot to create a snug fit. A tapered box and wide platform work harmoniously to distribute the pressure on your feet more evenly, helping to prevent injury and pain. You'll notice the comfort increase when standing en pointe in these shoes because of the wide platform and U-shaped vamp. Stand en pointe for even longer by spreading the weight across your toes more evenly in these pointe shoes. The strong shank strength is ideal for a more advanced dancer with flexible arches.
