Meet Holly, Marketing Executive

Tell us about your job role – what does a typical day look like for you?

I look after everything creative and content at Move Dance so I work on email marketing, social media, photoshoot planning and launching new products, we’ve got a few exciting things coming up! Every day is different, but it can be anything from helping film Tik Toks to writing descriptions for new products.

What is the best bit of your job role?

Seeing dancers wearing Move Dance! I love when we visit schools or a dancer comes up on Tik Tok wearing one of our leotards.

Can you describe yourself in three words?

Smiley, enthusiastic & I’ve been told I’m calm in the office so I’ll go with that!

What is your favourite Move Dance item and why?

My favourite Move Dance item is the Move Dance Francesca Catsuit. It is super comfortable and really flattering, the material is soft but adds a bit of luxury to a catsuit! Great for pilates, yoga or something different than wearing gym leggings on a casual day!

Meet Rose, Photographer

Tell us about your job role – what does a typical day look like for you?

I’m Move’s in-house photographer and I’ll often be found in the studio shooting and working with our lovely Move models or editing shoot images for our website or social media!

What is the best bit of your job role?

Meeting and working with so many talented dancers!

Can you describe yourself in three words?

Ambitious, resourceful and resilient

What is your favourite Move Dance item and why?

 My favourite item is the Jodie Biketard. I love how versatile it is, you can wear it for everyday occasions like running errands but also style it up in the studio! 

Dena, Customer Success Team Leader

Tell us about your job role – what does a typical day look like for you?

I am a senior team leader on the customer success team. A typical day for me I start my shift at 8:30 but I usually arrive a bit earlier to make a coffee, get my to do list ready and let the team know how well they did the day before. Pass on any updates to the other team leader to brief out to the CS team. I tend to do a lot of admin tasks and help with any questions.

What is the best bit of your job role?

Working with my team and the rest of the Move Dance team. We have such a diverse and friendly work enviroment with people from all over and after working here for nearly 4 years I have made some great friends.

Loyal, honest and friendly

What is your favourite Move Dance item and why?

"Move Dance Dahlia Cap Sleeve Crop Top in French Mauve. I love the colour and the super" flattering low back!

Clare, Head of Buying

Tell us about your job role – what does a typical day look like for you?

Overseeing the buying and design of all Own branded products and the selection of 3rd party products.

Looking for gaps within the offer to ensure we have the best product available for our customers, taking quality, design and selling price into consideration.

A large part of my role is liaising with suppliers around the world to ensure development and production of styles runs smoothly. We work very closely with all our factories at each stage of development from initial fabric sourcing, garment design and development to include packaging and shipment requirements.

Move Dance works as a team, so liaison with all areas of the business including, marketing, finance warehousing and the customer success teams is crucial.We want our customers to be happy with all their purchases and listen to feedback as we strive to improve all the time.

What is the best bit of your job role?

I’m always excited to see new samples arriving in the office. I love to see how an initial idea can develop into a beautiful garment.

Can you describe yourself in three words?

Passionate about the product, very fussy about the detail!

What is your favourite Move Dance item and why? 

I particularly like the new Aphrodite range as the cut of the leotards is very flattering including slash necklines, high leg cuts and dramatic deep backs. The fabric is soft to touch and made from recycled nylon. Available in classic black, and soft muted neutrals.
