Delivery costs and timescales are in accordance with delivery info. In the event of delivery delay, please refer to these timescales for information on when we can declare items missing.

Returns

What can you return?

You may return any unused items in a re-saleable condition for a refund or exchange within 28 days for UK orders and 40 days for European & Worldwide orders that are:

  • Unworn in original packaging
  • With tags attached
  • Tights or underwear must be in unopened packaging
  • CDs and DVDs must be in unopened packaging
  • Faulty items

How to return items

Please use the online returns process to register your return with us before sending it back to us. If you would like to exchange an item for the same item of a different size or colour, post the items back to us and we will send an exchange to you free of charge*.

Please check the size of your items by trying them on. Many of our shoes are supplied in US or European sizes, which we convert to UK sizes. Therefore the UK size you have ordered may not match the number on the box!

When returning items for refund or exchange it is your responsibility to return the goods to us at your cost unless there has been an error in your order. If you wish to return any items for refund you must inform us via email (customer.services@moveonlineretail.com) within 14 days of receipt to be eligible for refund of your original postage cost. Refunds for original postage costs are not eligible on orders that have been partially returned. We recommend that you insure the return shipment as you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them at our warehouse. In case of dispute, we also recommend you retain proof of sending. You may be liable for recovery costs of goods not received once you have given your notice of cancellation.

If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us before following the returns process so we can advise of the correct procedure to follow.

We request that you obtain proof of posting (either a Certificate of Posting or postage receipt). We cannot accept responsibility for lost parcels unless you have proof of posting. Items returned postage unpaid may not be delivered.

Please allow 10 working days for UK orders and 15 working days for European & Worldwide orders for your return to be received and processed. Refunds will take a further 3 days for the money to be returned to your account. If you have sent your order back via a priority delivery service we are unable to prioritise the processing of these returns.

If you have lost your original invoice, please send a note describing what you would like to return and exchange or refund. It is crucial that you include your order ID number on the letter. If you do not have an order ID please contact us in advance.

Please note:

  • Unfortunately we cannot accept requests for additional items (above the quantity of items on the original order) on returns. A new order should be placed on the website instead.
  • Items returned without all original packaging & tags, upon processing your return an additional £2.00 re-packaging fee will be charged.
  • Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returned underwear and tights in opened packaging or other items that are indicated as non-returnable on the product description.
  • Items which are made to order for your personalised specifications cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • *An additional standard postage charge will apply for any items exchanged more than once within a single order.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

Pricing, Taxes & Duties

United States None Prices do not include VAT or sales tax. You may be liable for import duty when receiving goods, however currently the USA operates a policy of no additional duties when orders are under $800 in value. There are no Move Online Retail Ltd. operations within the USA, no state sales taxes should apply.
Rest of EEC (not Germany or France) 20% or 0% Prices displayed include VAT at 0% for child apparrel and books, and 20% for all other goods.
Rest of World None Prices do not include VAT or sales tax. You may be liable for import duty when recieving goods.
Please note that you will always be charged the prices & currency that are set out for your delivery country. This may mean that the price of goods including applicable taxes may change when you enter in the delivery details at the checkout. For example, if you use the UK site to select goods, and subsequently enter in an address for Germany, the price will change to the German price in Euros and reflect German VAT.

Customers for all international orders (Non EU) are responsible for import duties that may be levied - please note you may be required to pay import duties for orders delivered to countries outside of the EU. Move Online Retail Ltd. is not responsible for these duties, and will not be able to calculate them. It is up to customers to ascertain whether they will be required to pay import duties and how much they will be.

Information for our Swiss customers:

Please note that customs duties may apply. These charges are not included in our prices and have to be paid by the recipient. Please also note that additional customs charges may apply when returning items for exchange. You may be entitled to claim back any duplicated customers duties - please contact your local post office, which can help you with your claim from Swiss customs. Prices vary for different countries (including between countries inside the EU) to reflect different operational costs. Prices are calculated based upon the delivery address.

Large Orders & Deposits

For large orders where multiple items of the same type are required or are of a high value please contact us. You may be eligible for a discount if the total value of the order is above £200 or €350. We may require a non-returnable deposit for large orders, we will advise you of this before your order is placed.

Availability

We endeavour to keep our stock system as accurate as possible. There may be occasions where an item has gone out of stock in the time between you placing your order, and your order being processed. We do not ordinarily hold backorders*. Any item(s) out of stock at the time of processing your order will be ordered with our supplier and dispatched to you at a later date once available. The rest of your order will be dispatched straight away. No further postage charge will apply for dispatching the backordered items.

Dance Teacher Discount Scheme - Terms & Conditions:

General Terms
  • To be eligible for the Teacher's Discount Scheme you need to be a dance teacher or the person responsible for ordering within a dance school (i.e. registered to professional bodies or currently working at an identifiable school). You may be asked to provide documentary proof.
  • If you stop teaching or leave your professional teaching organisations, you may become ineligible for continued use of your discount account.
  • The Teacher's Discount Scheme and any discounts can be withdrawn anytime without notice.
  • For UK delivery addresses there is a minimum spend of £30 to qualify for free delivery.
  • The full Teacher's Discount Scheme is open to delivery addresses within UK, Germany, France. We also welcome teachers from the following countries - Austria, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland at this time - however, due to increased delivery & insurance costs, teachers joining the scheme from these countries will not be eligible for free delivery and a minimum order value of £100 / 120€ (exc VAT) is required to qualify for the discount.
  • Whilst we honour an open and no fuss returns policy, where goods are sold to a business or self employed teacher, they are deemed to be exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations (as it is not a consumer retail transaction).
Discount Levels
  • You will receive 10% (20% Move Dancewear branded products) off standard retail prices before any special offers.
  • Larger orders over £1000 or 1000€ would ordinarily be eligible for further discount. Contact our customer services team for further details of this with the specific items, quantities, and colours you require.
  • Retail special offers do not apply within the Teacher's Discount Scheme.
Payments
  • We accept payment via credit or debit card, Paypal or proforma invoice only (minimum order value for proform invoice is £200/€250). Please ensure you have sufficient funds in your account when placing your order. Orders will not be processed until proforma invoices have been paid. If we require a deposit for your order, we may contact you via the information you provided in your sign up.
  • We may, from time to time, and with very high value orders, require to complete a fraud check on your account. This is to ensure no one is using your information without your consent, or with stolen or duplicate cards. We appreciate your patience and cooperation with this process.
Delivery
  • Free standard delivery for teacher accounts on orders with minimum spend of £30. Reduced price next day delivery on orders above £30. Dispatch and delivery times are as quoted in our delivery page.
  • Next day and courier services are available at a discounted rate. Dispatch and delivery times are as quoted in our delivery page.
Large orders / special orders
  • Orders over £500/500€ may be subject to additional fraud checks (including proof of payment details, restrictions of deliveries to additional addresses, bank transfers must be cleared in advance, etc.).
  • Orders for items we do not ordinarily stock (e.g. items that we have to order in specifically from suppliers) we will settle payment upfront and bank transfers must be completed in advance. We will not order the items until this payment is received, and will be subject to non-refundable re-stocking fee if returned or cancelled (25% of the value of your order).
  • Orders for items that have been customised, we will settle payment upfront and bank transfers must be completed in advance. We cannot place the order with our suppliers until this payment is received, and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Pricing and VAT
  • Prices on the site are shown with and without VAT for your convenience.
  • VAT will be applied to all transactions at the point of purchase and will be clearly shown in your checkout basket and payment pages. If you are VAT registered you can claim the VAT back from your local tax office.
Account data and contact
  • We will email you with transactional and account information when orders are placed.
  • From time to time we will email you with teacher specific promotional offers if you opted into the Move Dancewear teachers email newsletter at the time of registering your account. You can unsubscribe from this at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the email.
  • From time to time we will send marketing materials via mail and if you do not wish to receive these please send notification to teachers@moveonlineretail.com
  • Your account login information is confidential to you, and you only. We do not have access to your password. If you forget or need to change your password, please do so on the login page. It is your responsibility to ensure your information is kept secure. If you share your information with others, leading to fraudulent activity on your account, we may suspend or close your account without further notice.
