Move Dance is Europe's biggest and leading dancewear retailer. We've been going since 2007 and our passion for providing our dancers, teachers and gymnasts with quality dance apparel still continues to grow along with our business. Passion for dance, gymnastics and The Arts is at the forefront of all we do at Move Dance, closely followed by our other values of empowerment, performance and dynamism. Our mission is to help you achieve your performance dreams through our innovative products, purchased easily through our straightforward online shopping process.

We're proud to say that we serve over 100 countries worldwide with high-quality products from over 40 brands, offering fast and reliable shipping services to the U.S. especially. We stand out from the crowd as a dance retailer through our best standards of service and vast ranges, but that wasn't enough for us. We developed our own brands Move Dance and Alegra to really get to the roots of the products; ensuring unique, high-quality apparel with some ethical and vegan-friendly qualities wherever possible.

What we do and how we do it
1) Product development:
The life of all Move Dance and Alegra products begins at Move Dance HQ with our in-house designers' market research. Having close relationships with dancers and our models means that they're the spokespersons for all Move Dance shoppers, helping us understand the style and comfort needs of modern dancers.

We carefully select the best performing fabrics for our handpicked manufacturers to bring our designs to life, ensuring that we always stay ahead of the trends by seeking out innovative fabrics and methods to create our garments. We're proud that we watch over the lifecycle of all our products (even if it's not Move Dance or Alegra), from completion to their final quality assurance checks here at Move Dance HQ. We're disappointed if a product does make it back to HQ as a return, but that's OK because the team use this knowledge and reviews to improve our products based on our customers' needs and expectations of quality. The end result is a high-quality line of carefully thought-through and test products that we launch each year, ensuring newness and freshness for our dancers.
2) Buying:
We pride ourselves on our friendly, familial working environment at Move Dance and our Buying team loves that they extend this to our trusted suppliers globally. Meeting regularly with suppliers helps us share ideas and grow together in the dance industry, along with of course selecting impeccable products for our dancers at competitive prices. We know that this is just one of our customers' needs, so our buyers customize all areas of product acquisition to the interests of Move Dance shoppers. Thrown into the mix of important factors on range hunts is our search for new and exciting products that are perfect for all dance styles, ages and genders. How do we know what's important? Having a passion for dance sure helps, but being in dance circles and in touch with our dancer shoppers certainly makes it easy for us to choose best-value products.
3) Fulfilment team:
Your excitement at hitting that checkout button and placing your order is an energy that our fulfilment team begin your package's journey with, springing into action right away to carefully pick your dancewear choices. Speed is one of our key concerns, but that goes hand-in-hand with its buddy accuracy; our fulfilment team care about ensuring everything in your order is perfect, so they'll quality-check what they've packed for you before sending it off as quickly as possible. We're proud that we dispatch all orders will within 24 hours (on average).

We've worked really hard to ensure fast and reliable shipping to the United States at a reasonable price. Our speedy shipping partners DHL and USPS offer you tracked shipping; spend over $65 and we'll reward you with free tracked shipping with USPS. Our American customers need not worry that their parcels have a long journey before arriving at their destination, because we have constant communication with couriers so we know exactly where Move Dance orders are at all times. If our customer changes their mind or the product isn't quite right for them, our team stay hot on the case to process the return as quickly as possible within our outlined returns period.
4) Customer Services:
Our Customer Services department is always eager to pick up the phone and share their dance passion and knowledge with a customer. It's a team made up of dancers, dance teachers and dance enthusiasts - the triple threat in the Customer Service world! Of course the United States isn't just round the corner, so our friendly and multilingual team is always here to help offer support and deal with queries through our multiple contact channels. We've even got a dedicated teacher hotline to ensure that queries get responded to as quickly as possible. Want to know how something fits? Our team goes the extra mile to tell you (like trying a shoe on whilst on the phone to a customer), and coupled with their in-depth product knowledge, they're able to offer the best advice on products. We're fully committed everyday to ensuring 100% happiness and satisfaction of all our customers, which is reflected in our outstanding Feefo service rating that's proudly displayed on our website. In the unlikely event that we haven't got it right though, Customer Services will liaise with our customers to resolve the issue to the their satisfaction, every time.
